The Core Forum is the annual conference for ALA’s newest division, Core: Leadership, Infrastructures, Futures. It brings together decisions makers and practitioners that focus on the following areas:
- Access & Equity
- Assessment
- Buildings & Operations
- Leadership & Management
- Metadata & Collections
- Preservation
- Technology
Core Forum program tracks and discussions are structured around these seven topics, particularly the ways in which they interact with and complement each other.
Join Us in New Orleans
The Core Forum will take place 19-21 October 2023, at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside! Forum features pre-conference workshops, tours, thought-provoking presentations, keynote speakers, poster presentations, and social events. An unconference space also allows for informal conversations throughout the event, including ad hoc, birds-of-a-feather discussions.
