Morgan Lehr Miller is the Executive Director of the IMLS National Medal award-winning Cecil County Public Library (Maryland). She was President of the Maryland Library Association from 2020-2021 and recently received its Outstanding Member Award for her service and dedication during her term. In spring of 2022, she was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Maryland Daily Record. She writes and speaks frequently on all things libraries, boards, and leadership, and enjoys serving as an instructor in Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design’s executive education course on the Future of Library Design. In addition to working with various Library and Foundation boards to increase their effectiveness, she also serves as the Vice Chair of her local hospital board, ChristianaCare at Union Hospital of Cecil County.
