Communicating with Architects to Get What You Need
How well you and your architect communicate affects how closely the design solution will meet your library’s needs within the budget, and how much of your vision and preferences will be reflected in the final outcome. And, while it is important to communicate your goals, needs and wants to your architect, it is equally important to remain open to exchange of new and evolving ideas. Speakers will share their ‘lessons learned’ to provide insights on strategies, partnerships, and communication tips to ensure that the project team stays ‘on-the-same-page’ and that the library’s voice as the Owner/Client is heard and understood.
